BALER, Aurora — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)–Aurora Field Office provided employment assistance, student aid, and livelihood-related services during the nationwide “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” on Sept. 14, 2026.

Led by Antonio M. Sicat Jr., the DOLE Aurora Field Office joined other government agencies in delivering services to residents at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Baler and the Sports Complex in Dipaculao.

At the Provincial Capitol Grounds, DOLE awarded Certificates of Eligibility under the Department of Labor and Employment Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) to eight beneficiaries who had exited the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

The agency also provided financial assistance to 47 students under the Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES), with a total amount of PHP216,286.48.

At the Sports Complex in Dipaculao, another 132 students received SPES financial assistance amounting to PHP607,442.88.

The DOLE also facilitated a job fair in Dipaculao, where eight local employers and one international employer offered employment opportunities to jobseekers.

The agency likewise supported the KADIWA activity, providing residents access to affordable and quality products.

DOLE Aurora said its participation in the Handog ng Pangulo reflects the agency’s continuing efforts to bring employment, livelihood, and social protection services closer to communities.

The activities were conducted in coordination with other government agencies as part of the nationwide celebration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s birthday and the government’s efforts to provide accessible services to the Filipino people. (Jason de Asis)
