CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) seized more than Php1.53 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two drug personalities in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Pampanga and Tarlac on July 29, 2026.
In Candaba, Pampanga, operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU3) and the Regional Special Operations Group 3 (RSOG3), with the assistance of the Candaba Municipal Police Station and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3, arrested alias “Donald,” identified as a High-Value Individual (HVI), during a buy-bust operation.
Authorities recovered from the suspect approximately 121 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php822,800, along with buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation in Tarlac City, personnel of the Tarlac City Police Station, also in coordination with PDEA Region 3, arrested alias “Penpen,” a newly identified Street-Level Individual (SLI).

Confiscated from the suspect were around 105.37 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php716,516, together with marked money, a mobile phone, cash, and other pieces of evidence.
PRO3 Regional Director Police Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operations, emphasizing that the accomplishments reflect the police force’s continued commitment to combat illegal drug activities in Central Luzon.
“These successful operations reflect our unwavering commitment in the fight against illegal drugs. We will continue to intensify intelligence-driven operations and encourage the public to partner with the police in keeping our communities safe from the drug menace,” Mendez said.
He added that PRO3 remains focused on strengthening anti-illegal drug operations through intelligence gathering, operational coordination, and partnership with concerned agencies and communities.
Through sustained efforts, the regional police office said it will continue to uphold its commitment to delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” while working toward a safer and drug-free Central Luzon. (Jason de Asis)
