CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A total of 336 newly promoted personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) formally took their oath and donned their new ranks during a simultaneous Oath-Taking, Donning, and Pinning of Ranks Ceremony held at the Makatao Activity Center in Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on Wednesday.

The ceremony was led by Police Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez, PRO3 regional director, who administered the oath and personally donned the ranks of the newly promoted police personnel.

Of the total promotees, 167 are Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) while 169 are Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs).

In his message, Mendez reminded the newly promoted personnel that every promotion carries greater responsibility and accountability in serving the public.

“Every new rank is not merely a symbol of authority—it is a commitment to serve at a higher standard. Wear your ranks with honor, lead with humility, and serve with integrity. At the Police Regional Office 3, we do not merely wear our ranks; we wear the trust and confidence of the Filipino people,” he said.

He also urged the promotees to continue upholding the Philippine National Police’s commitment to delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” in every community they serve.

The simultaneous donning and pinning of ranks across all levels of the Philippine National Police recognizes the officers’ dedication, exemplary performance, and commitment to public service while preparing them to assume greater responsibilities in protecting lives, maintaining peace and order, and enforcing the law.
