PRO3 Acts on 98 Personnel in Internal Cleansing Drive

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has intensified its internal cleansing campaign, resolving 73 administrative cases involving 98 personnel from January 1 to April 30, 2026.

Records show that 13 personnel were dismissed from the service, 36 were suspended, 17 were exonerated or found not guilty, five received reprimands, and two were demoted.

The cases involved 20 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs), 77 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs), and one Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP), underscoring PRO3’s strict enforcement of accountability across all ranks.

PRO3 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez emphasized that maintaining discipline within the organization remains a key priority in ensuring credible and effective policing.

“In line with the focused agenda of the Philippine National Police, particularly on integrity monitoring and organizational accountability, we continue to strengthen our internal cleansing efforts. Discipline within the ranks is non-negotiable. We will hold accountable those who violate the law, while ensuring that due process is strictly observed,” Mendez said.

The PRO3 reiterated its commitment to uphold professionalism, transparency, and accountability as it advances the PNP’s mission of delivering fast, honest, and responsive public service.

Officials said the continued implementation of internal disciplinary measures aims to reinforce public trust and strengthen the integrity of the police force across Central Luzon. (Jason de Asis)
