BALER, Aurora — Aurora Governor Isidro P. Galban has been named the “Top Performing, Most Trusted Provincial Governor in the Philippines” by the Media People’s Choice Awards 2026, according to a recognition post published on the Gawad Pilipino Awards Facebook page on Wednesday, November 4.

The post cited Galban’s role in provincial leadership, particularly in strengthening government services, promoting community development, and addressing the needs of Aurora residents.

It also highlighted key areas of provincial governance, including infrastructure development, agriculture and fisheries, sustainable tourism, environmental protection, disaster preparedness, healthcare, social welfare, and education.

The recognition further emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and cooperation among provincial and municipal governments, national agencies, private organizations, and local communities in advancing Aurora’s development.

According to the announcement, the awarding ceremony is scheduled for November 11, 2026, at the AFP Commissioned Officers Clubhouse, Tejeros Hall, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
