MARIVELES, Bataan — The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) highlighted its transparency and good governance practices during a visit by a delegation from South Korea-based Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF).

The delegation was led by ACCMGF President Weon Deokho and accompanied by Kang Jang-won, chairman of the Philippine Organizing Committee for the United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day Commemoration (ADCOC-P).

AFAB presented an overview of the Freeport Area of Bataan, including its strategic location, major industries and investment opportunities, as well as its practices in promoting transparency and accountability in managing the economic zone.

Kang has also been involved in development initiatives in Bataan. He recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bataan Public-Private Partnership and Investment Center (PPPIC) and the International Digital Assets Council (IDAC) to promote corporate investments and consortiums for infrastructure development in the province.
