SUBIC, Zambales — Police arrested a 23-year-old suspected high-value drug personality and seized approximately 300 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱2.04 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales, early Thursday, October 15.

The operation was conducted at around 1:05 a.m. along the National Highway in Purok 1, Barangay Calapacuan, by the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group–Special Operations Unit 3 (PNP DEG SOU 3), in coordination with the Subic Municipal Police Station, Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group Region 3, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Zambales, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales.

Police said the seized suspected shabu had an estimated standard drug price of ₱2,040,000.

Authorities conducted the marking and inventory of the confiscated items at the arrest site in the presence of representatives from the media, the Department of Justice, and an elected public official.

The seized substances will be submitted to the Olongapo City Forensic Unit for laboratory examination, while the arrested suspect will be brought to the Subic Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
