MANILA — Organizations, destinations and leaders in the Philippine sports tourism industry were recognized at the 7th Philippine Sports Tourism Awards (PSTA) held on August 24, 2026, at the Manila Marriott Hotel.

The annual awards recognized contributions to sports tourism, economic growth, community development and industry excellence during 2025.

Among the awardees were World Archery Philippines, Inc., which was named Emerging Sports Association of the Year, and the Philippine Football Federation, which received the Sports Association of the Year award.

The FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup Manila was named International Event of the Year, while the Sports Tourism Forum at SMX Clark won MICE Event of the Year.

Other major awardees included Grand Country Tours & Travel as Tour Operator of the Year, Duck World Philippines as Sports Media Outfit of the Year, and Marriott Charity Golf as Charity Event of the Year.

The City of Lapu-Lapu was named Destination Marketing of the Year, while NUSTAR Resort Cebu won Hotel of the Year. The City of Puerto Princesa received the Emerging Destination of the Year and Event Organizer of the Year (Public) awards.

New Clark City was named Venue of the Year, while Philippine Airlines received the Airline of the Year award. Sunrise Events, Inc. was recognized as Event Organizer of the Year (Private).

The Subic Bay Freeport Zone was named Destination of the Year, while Cynthia Lagdameo Carrion received the Sports Tourism Personality of the Year award.
