Aboitiz Renewables, Inc., the renewable energy arm of Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower), donated 5,000 kilograms of rice, benefiting 4,477 families in Barangays Buhawen, Aglao, and San Rafael, San Marcelino, Zambales — reaching remote and isolated Indigenous Peoples communities as they recover from prolonged rains.

Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Liza D. Balario said the assistance was especially valuable for residents in areas where crossing rivers is necessary just to reach basic goods. (PR)
