The Philippine Coast Guard, together with the United States Coast Guard and the Philippine Navy, conducted the Philippine-US Bilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity in the waters off Bajo de Masinloc, Zambales, from June 27 to 28, 2026.
The exercise featured Division Tactics (DIVTACS) and Search and Rescue Exercises (SAREX), reinforcing the strong partnership between the Philippines and the United States in promoting maritime cooperation, enhancing maritime safety and security, and supporting a rules-based international order in the Indo-Pacific Region.
Among the participating vessels were the United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) Emlen Tunnell (WPC 1145), USCGC Charles Moulthrope (WPC 1141), BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151), and the PCG’s BRP Melchora Aquino (MRRV-9702) and BRP Capones (MRRV-4404).
