CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) recorded a significant breakthrough in its intensified campaign against wanted persons after several high-ranking fugitives were arrested in separate law enforcement operations across Central Luzon on June 1, 2026.
Among those arrested were Regional, Provincial, Municipal, and City Most Wanted Persons facing serious criminal charges, including murder, rape, statutory rape, sexual assault, acts of lasciviousness, and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In Bulacan, police operatives arrested a Top 5 Regional Most Wanted Person wanted for murder in Pulilan, while another Top 6 Regional Most Wanted Person facing a murder charge was apprehended in Sta. Maria through a joint manhunt operation. Authorities also arrested a Top 9 Regional Most Wanted Person and Top 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person in Balagtas for statutory rape.
In Nueva Ecija, a Top 2 Regional Most Wanted Person, who was also listed as the Top 1 Provincial and Municipal Most Wanted Person, was arrested in Jaen for two counts of qualified rape and acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610. Another Top 5 Provincial Most Wanted Person was apprehended in Peñaranda for sexual assault involving a minor.
Meanwhile, operatives from the Science City of Muñoz Police Station tracked down and arrested a Top 1 City Most Wanted Person and Top 7 Provincial Most Wanted Person in Navotas City for violations of Republic Act 9165.
In Aurora Province, a joint team composed of personnel from the Dinalungan Municipal Police Station, Aurora PPO units, and Silang Municipal Police Station in Cavite successfully arrested the Rank 7 Regional Most Wanted Person in Silang, Cavite. The suspect was wanted for murder under a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court in Casiguran, Aurora, with no bail recommended.
All arrested individuals are now under police custody and will undergo appropriate judicial proceedings.
PRO3 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for their relentless efforts and emphasized the effectiveness of intelligence-driven manhunt operations.
“The arrest of these high-ranking wanted persons reflects the dedication of our personnel and the effectiveness of our intelligence-driven operations. We will continue to pursue fugitives and ensure that justice is served,” Mendez said.
The successful operations form part of PRO3’s intensified anti-criminality campaign under the Philippine National Police Focused Agenda, aimed at maintaining peace and order throughout Central Luzon and beyond. (Jason de Asis)
