CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) intensified its anti-criminality campaign across Central Luzon, resulting in the arrest of 233 wanted persons and the confiscation of nearly Php9 million worth of illegal drugs during a weeklong operation from May 17 to 23, 2026.
According to PRO3 records, the arrested individuals included 34 Most Wanted Persons who were apprehended through a series of intensified manhunt operations conducted by various police units in the region.
At the same time, anti-illegal drug operations led to the seizure of approximately Php8,873,038.24 worth of illegal drugs, including around 1,286.52 grams of suspected shabu and 105.2 grams of marijuana and kush.

PRO3 Director Police Brig. General Jess B. Mendez said the operations form part of the continuing implementation of the PNP Focused Agenda, which emphasizes intelligence-driven operations, increased police visibility, and strengthened law enforcement efforts.
Mendez commended the operating units for their accomplishments and reaffirmed the commitment of Central Luzon police forces in maintaining peace and order in the region.
“We will not stop as long as criminals and illegal drugs continue to threaten our communities. We remain committed to delivering fast, honest, and felt public service for the people of Central Luzon,” Mendez said. Authorities said sustained anti-criminality and anti-drug operations will continue as part of PRO3’s efforts to ensure safer communities throughout the region. (Jason de Asis)
