SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Newly assigned Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Subic District Collector Atty. Geniefelle P. Lagmay paid a courtesy call on Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Engr. Eduardo Jose L. Aliño to strengthen inter-agency coordination and partnership within the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Lagmay was accompanied by outgoing District Collector Director Saulong and members of the BOC–Port of Subic team during the meeting.
The officials discussed matters concerning the continued smooth flow of cargo operations, enhanced coordination between the BOC and SBMA, and initiatives aimed at supporting economic growth and boosting investor confidence in the Subic Bay Freeport.
Aliño welcomed Lagmay and expressed support for sustained collaboration between the SBMA and the Bureau of Customs.
For her part, Lagmay thanked the SBMA leadership for the opportunity to strengthen ties between the two agencies and reaffirmed the Port of Subic’s commitment to transparency, professionalism, and service excellence.

The courtesy call also underscored the BOC’s efforts to strengthen stakeholder engagement, improve operational efficiency, and promote institutional integrity through collaborative governance.
