Over Php2 Million Worth of Shabu Seized; Two Drug Suspects Arrested in Bulacan Buy-Bust Operation

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Authorities confiscated more than Php2 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested two drug suspects during a buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Cutcot, Pulilan, Bulacan on May 10, 2026.

In a statement released on Monday, May 11, 2026, the operation was carried out at around 3:00 PM by operatives of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station (DRT MPS), in coordination with the Pulilan Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), with support from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Police reported that approximately 300 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of Php2,040,000, were seized during the operation.

Also recovered were one genuine Php1,000 bill used as buy-bust money, 12 pieces of boodle money, one box of Royce Potato Chip Chocolate, and one Toyota Vios allegedly used in the illegal transaction.

Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez, PRO3 Regional Director, commended the operating units for the successful operation and reiterated the region’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs.

He emphasized that the accomplishment reflects PRO3’s continued commitment to aggressive and intelligence-driven operations aligned with the Philippine National Police’s focused agenda on crime prevention and drug suppression.

Authorities said appropriate charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against the arrested suspects. (Jason de Asis)
