PRO3 Nets Over Php1.4 Million Worth of Illegal Drugs in Central Luzon Operations

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) intensified its anti-illegal drugs campaign, resulting in the arrest of five drug personalities and the confiscation of more than Php1.4 million worth of suspected illegal drugs in separate buy-bust operations conducted in Bulacan, Olongapo City, and Pampanga from May 7 to 8, 2026.

In the City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested alias “Jen,” identified as a High-Value Individual (HVI), during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Gaya-Gaya on May 7.

Authorities confiscated suspected marijuana kush, locally grown marijuana, and vape devices containing suspected liquid marijuana juice with a total estimated Standard Drug Price of Php360,000.00. Her alleged cohort, identified only as alias “Matoy,” managed to escape and remains the subject of follow-up operations.

Meanwhile, in Olongapo City, personnel of the City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 3 Station Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two alleged drug personalities identified as alias “Jerome,” a listed HVI, and alias “Angel,” a newly identified HVI, during an operation in Barangay East Tapinac.

Recovered from the suspects were five sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 55 grams with an estimated value of Php374,000.00.

In Pampanga, a joint anti-drug operation conducted by the Magalang Municipal Police Station and the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Pampanga led to the arrest of alias “Jojo,” an HVI, and alias “Jay Ar,” identified as a Street-Level Individual (SLI), in Barangay San Francisco, Magalang on May 8.

Authorities seized around 102 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php693,600.00.

All arrested suspects and confiscated evidence were brought to their respective police stations for proper documentation and filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PRO3 Regional Director Police Brigadier General Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for their sustained anti-drug efforts and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to intensifying intelligence-driven operations against illegal drugs and criminality across Central Luzon.

“These accomplishments reflect our firm commitment to protecting communities and preventing illegal drugs from destroying lives and families,” Police Brig. General Mendez said. (Jason de Asis)
