ZAMBALES— The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) vessel BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408) conducted search and rescue operations to a distressed fishing vessel in the vicinity waters off Sabanagan Point, Subic, Zambales on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
According to the report, fishing vessel FB Goldan (Bagito) with 12 crew onboard encountered engine trouble.
BRP Cape San Agustin (MRRV-4408) immediately proceeded to the area to conduct towing operations.
“The PCG showcase its unwavering commitment in safeguarding the well-being of all Filipino fishermen navigating the West Philippine Sea. This operation underscores the dedication and efficiency of our personnel in addressing emergencies at sea,” stated in the PCG report.
