TIANCHANG CITY, ANHUI PROVINCE, China– The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), led by Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman, conducted a plant visit to Anhui Tianda New Energy Co., Ltd. (Tianda Solar) during its China Investment Mission.

Joining Administrator Pangandaman were Head of the Administrator’s Group and Corporate Affairs Department Atty. Percival B. Peralta, and Executive Assistant II and Personal Secretary to the Administrator and CEO Mr. Abdul Jabbar Sumandar Hadji Malik.

The delegation visited Tianda Solar’s manufacturing facility located at the Chuzhou High Tech Zone in Tianchang City, Anhui Province, where they were welcomed by Mr. Yaowei, Vice President, and Ms. Suellen Zou, Overseas Sales Manager of Tianda Solar.

Tianda Solar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anhui Tianda Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd., or Tianda Group, which has been recognized among China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises and top manufacturing enterprises for several years.

During the visit, the Tianda Solar executives provided the AFAB delegation with an overview of the company’s manufacturing operations and facilities. The delegation was shown the mid portion of the solar panel manufacturing process, including cell tabbing and stringing, module lay-up, Electroluminescence (EL) inspection, lamination, trimming, framing, and final packaging for both domestic and international customers.

Tianda Solar focuses on the research and development, production, and sales of photovoltaic modules and photovoltaic power generation systems.

The plant visit is part of AFAB’s efforts to explore potential investment opportunities and strengthen linkages with Chinese enterprises in the renewable energy and new and emerging manufacturing sectors. (PR)
