CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga— Police arrested 12 suspected drug personalities, including a high-value individual (HVI), and seized more than P1.1 million worth of suspected shabu in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Bulacan and Pampanga, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said Friday.

PRO3 said operatives arrested 10 suspects during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mapulang Lupa, Pandi, Bulacan, on Aug. 5. Authorities recovered about 60 grams of suspected shabu valued at P408,000, a .38-caliber revolver, ammunition, a weighing scale, and marked buy-bust money.
In a separate operation on Aug. 4 in Barangay Lourdes North West, Angeles City, police arrested two suspects, including an HVI and a newly identified street-level individual. Seized during the operation were about 105 grams of suspected shabu worth P714,000.

The suspects are facing charges for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9165, Republic Act No. 10591, and other applicable laws. The confiscated evidence was submitted for forensic examination.
PRO3 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the operations underscore the police’s continuing campaign against illegal drugs and urged the public to support law enforcement by reporting drug-related activities.
