BALER, Aurora-The Philippine Army’s 91st Infantry “Sinagtala” Battalion facilitated the oath taking of newly elected People’s Organization Provincial Federation Officers 2024 to take lead in supervising and monitor the progress of the 18 People’s Organization (POs) in the entire aurora province and some parts of Nueva Ecija area of operations held at Laang Sibol Hall, Camp Jaime Bitong, Sr., Barangay Calabuanan, here on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Lt. Col. Julito B. Recto, Jr., commander of 91st IB said that the election of the officers was held earlier today during the regular monthly assembly of people’s organization particularly the “Asosasyon ng Nagkakaisang Mamamayan para sa Kaunlaran at Kapayapaan sa Aurora” (ANMKKA).
Recto said that the organization is already registered and recognized by the province that will further strengthen their engagement with the government. “The ANMKKA has various existing livelihood programs, what we need now is the sustainability of all peoples’ organizations (POs) of FRs. Hopefully they will become successful or millionaire someday,” Recto said.
He cited Antipolo Farmers Association and Olivete Farmers Association they organized in the town of Bongabon in Nueva Ecija that has more than Php3 million asset each and will share to the group of FRs how the two POs become successful.
“Just keep the fire in managing your livelihood soundly and effectively, later on you will notice that your respective businesses are growing,” Recto said. The battalion commander also said that they will give another training for FRs on meat processing and additional fund for the POs in coordination and partnership with TESDA-Aurora and the Office of the Representative of Lone District of Aurora.
On the other hand, Ka Edgar expressed his sincerest thanks to 91st IB for the valuable times, efforts and continuous support to the FRs like them. He said that the move of 91st IB is an excellent opportunity to help the organization in rebuilding their lives and vows that the ANMKKA will always be an active part of the Government’s to build a lasting peace and development in Aurora province.
After the program the present officers of the POs Provincial Federation recieved 5 Kilos of rice each from 91st IB as a support for their daily needs. (Jason de Asis)
