MARIVELES, Bataan — Several of the country’s leading restaurant brands are set to open branches in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) as part of ongoing commercial development projects aimed at expanding business opportunities and services in the area.
The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) announced that restaurant chains Jollibee Foods Corporation brands Jollibee, Chowking, and Greenwich will soon establish operations within the Freeport under the Site Development Projects of the De Guzman Group–North Luzon.
The planned openings follow the recent launch of Mang Inasal in Mariveles.
According to AFAB, the entry of these restaurant brands is expected to provide additional dining options for workers, residents, and visitors while generating employment and economic opportunities within the Freeport.
The agency said the development reflects increasing investor confidence in the FAB and supports the continued economic growth of Mariveles and nearby communities.
AFAB added that more investment projects are in the pipeline and will be announced in the coming months as part of efforts to further develop the Freeport as a major investment destination in Central Luzon.
The agency reiterated its commitment to transforming the Freeport Area of Bataan into a dynamic investment hub that promotes sustainable employment and improves the quality of life of residents in Mariveles and across Bataan.
