BATAAN — Runners and fitness enthusiasts from across the region are invited to take part in the Mariveles Marathon 2026, set to take place on April 26, 2026 at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) in Mariveles, Bataan.
The marathon will feature four race categories designed to accommodate runners of all levels: 42KM, 21KM, 10KM, and 5KM. Registration fees are set at ₱2,399 for 42KM, ₱1,999 for 21KM, ₱1,399 for 10KM, and ₱899 for 5KM.
Participants will receive race kits that include a race bib with RFID timing, race singlet, finisher’s medal, and other inclusions such as finisher shirts, towels, drawstring bags, packed meals, and a trucker cap for select categories.
The event is organized in partnership with the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB), Smoke10 Events Management, and Mariveles Bataan Runners, highlighting the growing role of sports tourism in the municipality. Mariveles has increasingly positioned itself as a hub for athletic events, contributing to the province’s expanding sports tourism initiatives.
On-site registration is available at designated locations including Gari’s Café The Alcove (FAB), Gari’s Café Cabcaben, Mariveles Fitness Hub Gym, and Decathlon SM Clark. Online registration is also accessible via MyRunTime.
Finishers will receive commemorative medals, with event merchandise such as race singlets, finisher shirts, towels, and caps also featured as part of the race experience.
The Mariveles Marathon 2026 aims to promote health, wellness, and community engagement while showcasing the scenic and historic landscape of Mariveles—known as the starting point of the historic Bataan Death March and a growing destination for outdoor and endurance events.
Interested participants are encouraged to register early and secure their slots for one of Bataan’s premier running events this year.
