The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Subic International Marathon (SIM) formalized a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding held Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Bulwagang Lapulapu, Camp Crame. Quezon City.
The ceremonial signing was led by PLTGEN Bernard M. Banac, The Deputy Chief PNP for Administration (TDCA) and Co-Founder of SIM. Signing on behalf of SIM were PBGEN Samson R. Tucay (Ret), Founder of SIM, and Ms. Rosalyn D. Imperio, Partner, SIM.
Also present during the activity were PBGEN Marvin Joe C. Saro, Officer-in-Charge, Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR), and PBGEN Vina H. Guzman, Director, Police Community Affairs Development Group (PCADG).
The collaboration underscores the shared commitment of the PNP and SIM to promote the physical fitness, mental resilience, and overall wellness of police personnel. Fully aligned with the PNP Focused Agenda, the initiative supports morale and welfare, while strengthening community engagement through health- and fitness-centered programs—advancing the thrust of Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.
