DAR Zambales distributes IEC equipment to agrarian reform beneficiaries

ZAMBALES — The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has distributed information, education, and communication (IEC) equipment to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) in different municipalities of Zambales.

The activity is in line with the department’s objective of providing relevant information on its Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project in agrarian reform areas across the province.

DAR Zambales Program Beneficiaries Development Division Head Dana Domingo  led the turnover of transistor radios and television units to selected organizations.

“Ang mga television at mga radyong ito na ibinigay sa inyo ay malaking tulong para sa mga ARBOs upang tuloy tuloy kayong magkaroon ng mga kaalaman sa lahat ng mga programa at suportang serbisyo na ipinagkakaloob ng DAR sa kanilang mga benepisyaryo,” she said.

She also expressed thanks to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Secretary Conrado Estrella for their support.

A total of 11 ARBOs received transistor radios with solar power features, while eight ARBOs were given 32-inch television sets as part of the equipment distribution.

The IEC tools were provided to enhance the ability of organizations to access information related to agrarian reform programs and services.

The Program Beneficiaries Development Division facilitated the rollout and coordinated with ARBOs to ensure the distribution is aligned with the objectives of Project SPLIT. (Reia G. Pabelonia, PIA 3)
