PAMPANGA — Two robbery suspects who targeted fast-food chains in Bulacan and Pampanga were arrested less than 24 hours after their latest heist, following a swift and coordinated police operation led by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
The suspects were captured during a hot pursuit operation on November 10, 2025, around 10:00 a.m. in Barangay 175, Caloocan City. Their arrest came after a robbery incident reported a day earlier, November 9, 2025, involving a fast-food establishment in the towns of Bustos and Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Through the immediate response and close coordination of the Sta. Maria Municipal Police Station and other operating units under the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, authorities successfully traced the suspects’ getaway vehicle and later apprehended them at their hideout.
Recovered from the operation were a gray Toyota Avanza, two sets of vehicle plate numbers (NIQ 9065 and NIF 4547), one .38 caliber revolver loaded with live ammunition, PHP10,000 in paper bills, PHP13,000 in assorted coins, and several tools and personal items believed to have been used during the robbery.
PRO3 Regional Director, Police Brig. General Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., lauded the exemplary teamwork and quick action of the involved police units, emphasizing that the operation demonstrates the vigilance and professionalism of Central Luzon’s police force.
“As we enter the busy Christmas season, PRO3 will further intensify its security operations across the region to ensure that our communities and local businesses remain safe and protected,” Peñones Jr. assured. (Jason de Asis)
