BATAAN — Authorities arrested a former Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Daang Bago, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The operation, carried out by the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), led to the capture of the suspect identified only as alias “DC,” 31 years old, a former BJMP officer.
Recovered from the suspect were 122.10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP830,280, along with marked money used in the operation.
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Director Police Brig. General Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. commended the operatives for their successful operation, emphasizing the PNP’s unwavering stance against illegal drugs. (Jason de Asis)
