SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Central Luzon is calling on changemakers, innovators, and advocates to join the region’s biggest gathering on eco-driven travel and responsible tourism: the Central Luzon Sustainable Tourism Summit 2025, happening at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.
Carrying the theme “Building Green Legacies: Sustaining Nature, Celebrating Culture, and Empowering Industry,” the three-day summit will unite local governments, tourism officers, MSMEs, academe, and sustainability leaders to shape a greener, more inclusive, and future-ready tourism industry.
This year’s summit goes beyond conversations, offering hands-on workshops, expert-led talks, and an expo of sustainable tourism products and services. Participants can choose from three immersive learning tracks—Nature, Culture, and Industry—to tailor their summit experience.
A key highlight is the inaugural Sustainable Tourism Appreciation and Recognition (S.T.A.R.) Awards, which will honor outstanding trailblazers who are redefining sustainability, innovation, and positive community impact in Central Luzon. The program will also unveil new eco-destinations, spotlighting hidden trails and community-led green spots ready to inspire the next wave of eco-adventures.
“With climate change and evolving travel behaviors reshaping global tourism, this summit is more than timely; it’s transformative,” said SBMA Tourism Manager Mary Jamelle Camba.
“We want participants to leave with actionable tools and meaningful connections that will help build green legacies for generations to come.”
Registration is free and open to the public. Interested participants may secure their slots by visiting the summit registration portal: tinyurl.com/2025CLSTREG. (PR)
