C. Luzon police arrest 6, seize over P1-M worth of shabu

PAMPANGA – Six individuals were arrested in a series of anti-drug operations in Central Luzon on Friday and Saturday, yielding over PHP1 million worth of suspected shabu.

In a report Saturday, the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) said operations were conducted in the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Zambales and Pampanga.

One was arrested in Zambales with 33 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP224,400; two in Nueva Ecija with about 100.5 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP683,400; and three in Pampanga with about 15 grams worth PHP102,000.

“The arrests demonstrate how an integrated and relentless approach to drug enforcement can effectively cripple local networks,” PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. said. “

It sends a strong message that there will be no safe haven for drug personalities in Central Luzon.” (Jason De Asis / PNA)
