AURORA- This province recorded a total of 1,165,254 tourist arrivals during the Holy Week and extended SUMVAC period from April 12 to 20, 2025, according to consolidated data from the Aurora Provincial Tourism Office and various municipal tourism offices.
The figure includes 310,739 overnight guests and 854,682 same-day visitors, showing a significant increase in local tourism activity during the peak summer season.
Dipaculao led all eight municipalities with 309,219 total arrivals, followed closely by Baler with 307,077, and Dingalan with 280,001. These top three towns accounted for the majority of both same-day and overnight visits in the province.

The combined arrivals from all municipalities reached 1,165,421, with slight discrepancies due to real-time reporting and updates.
The Provincial Tourism Office attributed the increase in visitors to heightened promotional efforts, improved access, and the province’s natural attractions such as beaches, waterfalls, mountains, and cultural heritage sites.
The local government, police, and tourism officials ensured the safe and orderly flow of visitors through intensified coordination and tourist assistance services across the province during the holiday period. (Jason de Asis)
