A media conference marked the official launch of The Great Revival in 2025: Tour of Luzon 2025 at The LightHouse, Meralco Building, Pasig City, attended by accredited media partners.
The event featured discussions on the tour’s details, timeline, and exciting updates.The Great Revival in 2025: Tour of Luzon 2025, presented by MPTC and DuckWorld PH powered by TV5, is set to begin on April 30 with the Opening Ceremony and Team Presentation in Laoag City. The tour will conclude on May 1 in Baguio, covering an estimated total distance of 1,050 kilometers.
Tagaytay City Mayor, President of the Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines, and President of the Philippine Olympic Committee, Abraham Tolentino, along with Arrey Perez, Chief Regulatory Officer of MPTC, delivered the welcome speech.
The event was also graced by Richard ‘Dickie’ Bachmann, Chairman of the Philippine Sports Commission. Lorenzo “Jun” Lomibao Jr., Race Director for the Tour of Luzon 2025, highlighted key information during the media briefing, with Mr. Patrick G. Gregorio, Chairman of DuckWorld PH, closing the program
“Let’s celebrate the Philippines’ rich cycling heritage. Join us in reviving Asia’s oldest cycling race! Get your pedals ready for The Great Revival in 2025: Tour of Luzon 2025,” Lomibao said.
