The newly elected Board of Trustees and executive officers of the Journalism Studies Association of the Philippines (JSAP), the national association of journalism educators, take their oath of office before Undersecretary Joe Torres, executive director of the Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFoMS), at the Philippine Information Agency Building in Quezon City on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
JSAP vowed to boost the journalism curriculum by educating future journalists on media safety principles and practices and to help PTFoMS update its safety manual for journalism practitioners.
