Customs- Subic conducts tree planting activity

ZAMBALES— Employees of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Subic conducted a tree planting activity in Aningway-Sacatihan, Subic, Zambales.

The said activity is in line with their commitment to environmental sustainability and community welfare, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, titled “Rooting for Tomorrow: Subic Port’s Commitment to a Greener World.” It is aimed in contributing to the preservation of the environment while fostering a culture of care and stewardship within the local community.

Personnel from the BOC-Port of Subic participated in the event, planting trees suited to the local environment that serves as a testament to the agency’s dedication to creating a sustainable future for generations to come.

“Environmental protection is a shared responsibility, through activities like these, we hope to inspire others to take action and work together for a greener tomorrow,” said Veronica R. Granados acting Deputy Collector for Administration.

The CSR initiative highlights the BOC-Port of Subic’s ongoing commitment to supporting both environmental and social initiatives in Subic and surrounding areas.
