OLONGAPO CITY – Six individuals involved in alleged illegal drugs and labelled as “high-value-targets” were apprehended inside a makeshift drug den resulting in the confiscation of some Php 102,000.00 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation at around 8:50 p.m., in Barangay Pag-asa on Tuesday night (September 3).
Authorities recovered a total of six (6) plastic transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth Php 102,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the marked money.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Tarlac and Zambales Provincial Offices, and the Olongapo City Police Office.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA RO III jail facility and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.
