SUBIC BAY FREEPORT– The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Subic conducted a free eye check-ups and consultations for all its employees in Subic Bay Freeport zone.
The project dubbed “Community Optical Service Program,” is an initiative of District Collector Atty. Ricardo U. Morales II in collaboration with Metro One Dental and Optical Center represented by Dr. Elyssa Jean F. Sarmiento, Dr. Erica Joie F. Sarmiento, Dr. Jonas Jerome T. Gopez and Carl Angelor C. Palad.
This initiative provided free eye check-ups and consultations for all employees, including on-the-job trainees and stakeholders, as part of the bureau’s commitment to promoting health and wellness within its community.
Morales emphasized the importance of such health initiatives in fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.

Metro One Dental and Optical Center, known for its dedication to high-quality and reliable eye care, partnered with the BOC – Port of Subic to deliver these essential services. The initiative offered comprehensive eye examinations, consultations, and access to affordable eyeglasses and contact lenses, ensuring that participants’ ocular health needs were thoroughly addressed.
