Fleet personnel marksmanship training

ZAMBALES -, A two-day marksmanship training for Philippine Fleet (PF) officers and enlisted personnel spearheaded by the Fleet Support Group was conducted at the firing range of Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui in San Antonio, Zambales.

The activity aims to develop and enhance the personnel’s knowledge, skills, and confidence on gun safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, and record firing utilizing M16 rifles and Glock 9mm pistols.

Familiarization and record firing training are indispensable components of military and law enforcement preparation. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, this training ensures fleet personnel are proficient in using their firearms, and confident and ready to face the challenges that come with their roles.

Whether its hitting a target at long range or responding quickly in a high-stress situation, the skills honed through this training are crucial for operational effectiveness and personal safety.
