SUBIC BAY FREEPORT– The Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic recently concluded its 3rd Customs Industry Consultative and Advisory Council (CICAC) meeting at the Office of the District Collector on April 23, 2024, in Subic Bay Freeport zone.
The meeting is chaired by District Collector Atty. Ricardo U. Morales II, and was attended by key Customs officials and members of the CICAC, representing various industry stakeholders. This gathering provided a vital platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration between the BOC and its industry partners.
This particular meeting marked the inaugural session for the newly added CICAC members under Morales’ leadership, highlighting the bureau’s commitment to fostering inclusive and transparent engagement with the business community.
During the session, participants discussed key issues and initiatives aimed at streamlining customs procedures, enhancing trade facilitation, and addressing industry concerns. The exchange of insights and perspectives between the BOC and CICAC members reflects a shared commitment to strengthening partnerships and improving operational efficiencies at the Port of Subic.
