The Department of Tourism – Region III and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority – Tourism Department teamed up to showcase Central Luzon as a top spot for cruise tourism at the Seatrade Cruise Global event held in Miami, Florida recently.
The said event, known to be the leading cruise industry exhibition for over 30 years, attracted over 1,000 cruise experts, suppliers, and national tourism organizations, along with more than 11,000 booth visitors, including top executives in various cruise-related fields.
Featuring a three-day trade exhibition and a conference program with industry experts, the event focused on networking between local and international cruise stakeholders.

The Philippine delegation, led by the DOT OPMD Cruise Team and PDOT New York, along with private sector stakeholders and government agencies, including the SBMA Tourism Department, seized opportunities to connect with potential markets and discuss future projects.
With increasing cruise arrivals in Subic Bay, the destination aims to revitalize its cruise tourism program, boosting tourism and creating economic opportunities in the area and neighboring provinces.(PR)
