ZAMBALES — The Department of Tourism – Regional Office trains 33 boatmen with the Basic Life Support, First Aiding and Water Safety Search and Rescue (BLS and WASSAR) in San Antonio, Zambales.
The boatmen, also considered tourism frontliners here, were given training on life saving procedures performed on both land and water scenarios and responding to emergency situations.
The DOT3, headed by Richard G. Daenos, extends its gratitude to Domitela Mora the Provincial Tourism Officer of Zambales, the Municipal Tourism Office of San Antonio, and Megan’s Paradisio Beach Resort for providing support and assistance to the said training. (DoT3 photos)
