,SUBIC BAY FREEPORT– The Coast Guard Special Operations Force (CGSOF) conducted basic scuba diver training for personnel of Light Reaction Regiment (LRR) of the Philippine Army in Subic Bay Freeport zone.
The cross-training, composed of Basic Life Saving (BLS), Water Search and Rescue (WASAR), and basic scuba diving, equipped the trainees with knowledge and skills to operate in the maritime environment safely and effectively.
The training was a 20-day course under the leadership of CG Rear Admiral Inocencio Rosario Jr held at the Law Enforcement Department Academy of the of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority from 20 March to 11 April 2024.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by CG Captain Joselito Maluyo, Commander of Deployable Operations Group, CGSOF, in Subic Bay, Zambales. He extended his gratitude to Rosario and the CGSOF training instructors for the successful conduct of the training.
