ZAMBALES – Philippine Fleet (PF) Commander, Rear Adm. Renato David, led the donning of ranks ceremony to 10 newly promoted PF officers held at Naval Operating Base (NOB) Subic on March 26.
Now donning a higher rank are Lieutenant Commander (LCdr) Dan Evert Llyod Gobatan, Lieutenant (Lt.) Estella Jane Sasil, Lt. Aileen Agcaoli, Lt. April Joy Bucalen, Lt. Jessa Labos, Lt. Sherwin Masalay, Lt. Jealey Macapil, Lt. Joyce Pepito, Lieutenant Junior Grade (Ltjg.) Frederick Ireneo Macalintal, and Ltjg. Romano Rayo.
Rear Adm. David said the ceremony is a meaningful tradition that reflects the tenets of military service such as duty, honor, and leadership. For newly promoted officers, it represents not just a personal achievement but a solemn commitment to the ideals and values of the profession of arms.
“As they embark on this new chapter of their military careers, they do so with humility, courage, and a steadfast dedication to serving their country and their fellow service members,” he added.
