ZAMBALES – Philippine Fleet (PF) personnel and enthusiasts gathered on Friday, March 15 at the Naval Operating Base (NOB) Subic, for an outdoor activity as prelude to its Founding anniversary this coming April.
PF Commander Rear Adm. Renato David led the Fun Bike and Fun Golf 2024 participated by officers and enlisted personnel coming from different PF sub-units, reservists, and partners from the local community, and the Philippine National Police.
Participants pedaled their way from NOB Subic to the Naval Education Training and Doctrine Command headquarters in San Antonio, Zambales where they teed off for the fun golf afterwards.
Rear Adm. David in his remarks recognized these outdoor activities as undertakings that promote physical fitness, health and wellness, as well as unity, which are all imperative of every sailor toward accomplishing the Fleet’s overall mandate.
The activity likewise fostered confidence and collaboration with partners and stakeholders from other sectors whose consistent support has enabled the Fleet to reach various milestones, David said.
