ZAMBALES – Personnel from Philippine Fleet together with BRP Tarlac LD601 and BRP Antonio Luna FF151 – PF teamed up with counterparts from the visiting USS Manchester (LCS14) in a community outreach initiative at Agusuhin Elementary School in Sitio Agusuhin, Brgy. Cawag, Subic Zambales.
A total of 253 students received Happy Meal toys donated by Ronald McDonald’s House Charities and 30 kindergarten received essential school supplies in this activity that formed part of the ongoing goodwill visit to the country of the Independence-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy.
This community engagement demonstrated both navies’ shared commitment to supporting communities in need while also showcasing both Navies’ thrust as reliable and trustworthy institutions. It further highlighted the goodwill and collaboration between the Philippine Navy and the US toward fostering lasting connection between the two nations.
