SUBIC BAY FREEPORT– In a simple ceremony at the Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic, Deputy Collectors, Division Heads, Chiefs, and employees, including Contract of Service personnel, were honored with the awarding of plaques of commendation and certificates of appreciation during the “Taunang Parangal” event held Monday, January 29.
The recognition highlighted the personnel for their dedicated support and exceptional contributions throughout the entire calendar year 2023.

Led by District Collector, Ciriaco DG. Ugay, the event showcased the commitment and hard work of all the Port’s personnel, acknowledging their unwavering dedication that has significantly contributed to the success and efficiency of operations and for surpassing the assigned collection target for 2023.
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño also graced the event.

Ugay said Aliño’s attendance added a special significance to the occasion, emphasizing the collaborative efforts between the Port of Subic and SBMA in achieving excellence.
“Let us make 2024 another great year of accomplishments as directed by our new Secretary of Finance which the Bureau is tasked to collect 1 trillion pesos for the government. Our cooperation, hardwork and dedication will fuel our drive towards success,” Ugay added.
