ZAMBALES — Around 160 Philippine Fleet (PF) personnel were treated to a day of health and wellness services in an activity dubbed as “Health Caravan for the Vanguard of Our Seas 01” at the Naval Operating Base in Subic, Zambales on Saturday, Nov. 18.
PF spokesperson Lt. Giovanni Badidles said the event was made possible through the collaboration with the Pasay-Parañaque Medical Society, Ford Everest Club Philippines, and Emilio Aguinaldo Masonic Lodge 31.

Comprehensive healthcare services aimed at maintaining and improving the sailors’ physical health included random blood sugar, total cholesterol, blood uric, ABI Screening, Foot Screening Bone Scanning, Urine Micral Testing, check up on GP, ENT, ObGyne, Optha, and minor surgery with free medicines and eyeglasses.
This program represents a holistic approach to uphold the well-being of the most important asset of the organization who are at the frontlines of protecting our territorial waters including the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone.

“The collaborative efforts manifested by partner organizations in putting premium on the health and welfare of officers and enlisted personnel further strengthen the Fleet’s resolve as the Vanguard of our Seas,” Badidles added.
