ZAMBALES — As part of the ongoing goodwill visit to the country of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), personnel of HMCS Ottawa with their commanding officer, Cmdr. Sam Patchell held a gift giving activity in Bgy. Cawag, Zambales on Sept. 16.

In collaboration with the Philippine Navy (PN), the locals of the remote community of San Martin received essential goods and food supplies as a gesture of benevolence from the visiting navy.
The villagers reciprocated this kindness through a local dance presentation showcasing their culture as a display of gratitude and appreciation.
This community engagement demonstrated both navies’ shared commitment to supporting communities in need.
