Pumanaw na si dating DILG Usec. for Barangay Affairs Martin Diño sa edad na 66 dahilan sa Stage 4 cancer nitong Martes ng madaling-araw, Agosto 08.

Ang pagpanaw ay inanunsyo ng anak nito na si Liza Diño-Seguerra, dating chairperson ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), sa pamamagita ng isang Facebook post.

“His contributions to our nation’s progress, particularly on local ­governance and community development, will forever stand as a testament to his commitment to a better society,” saad ni Dino-Seguerra.

Nagsilbing undersecretary ng DILG Si Diño, sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte makaraan na maging Chairman muna ng Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) at Violence Against Crime and Corruption (VACC). (Ulat para sa Ang Pahayagan ni JUN DUMAGUING)
