The Department of Environment and Natural Resources -Environmental Management Bureau- Region 3 recognized the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Ecology Center for its outstanding practices in upcycling and crafts production operation during the recognition of LGUs and stakeholders with Best Ecological Solid Waste Management Practices held on June 26, 2023 at the Widus Hotel and Casino, Clark Freeport Zone. The award was received by Amethya P. Dela Llana, Head of the Regulatory Group/Manager of Ecology Center and Rossell L. Abuyo, Division Chief of Policy and Monitoring Division.
