The country’s premier Freeport and popular tourist destination signified its readiness for electric vehicles after launching two Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) at the Unioil Subic gasoline station Thursday, June 15. Two electric vehicles, the Hyundai IONIQ5 from Hyundai Motors Philippines and Nissan Leaf from Nissan Philippines were also presented during the ceremony as Subic Bay Freeport expects the increase of tourists with electric vehicles.
