SM aims to inspire everyone that Earth Hour is not just about an hour of lights off, it’s what everyone can do to the community, to the world and to the planet.

Through the initiative of SM City Olongapo Central, SM City Olongapo Downtown and the rest of SM malls, the observance of Earth Hour was conducted through the participation of mall tenants and employees.

The mall’s participation includes switching off 100% of mall’s lighted logos, 50% of Mall interior lights and perimeter lights including tenants lightings while remain open to loyal patrons. The switching off of lights happened at exactly 8:30PM-9:30PM on March 25, 2023.
