Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales provincial director Enrique Tacbad handed over the Bagwis Seal for SM Supermarket Olongapo Central (gold) and ADD Garbes Servitek (silver) during a simple awards ceremony held at All Day Breakfast Restaurant in Subic Bay Freeport.
Receiving the awards in behalf of the companies are Donna Ivy Mallari, Asst. Store Manager; Gilbert Paasa, Selling Assistant and Angela Rivera, Customer Assistant for SM Supermarket Olongapo Central and Anthony Chris Rosete for ADD Garbes Servitek. They were joined by Marilou C. Arcega, Division Chief, Business Development Division and May Ann A. Bermas, OIC Division Chief, Consumer Protection Division of DTI Zambales.
The DTI Bagwis Award aims to give due recognition to establishments that uphold the rights of consumers and practice responsible business where consumers indeed get value for money. It has three levels, namely the Bronze, Silver and Gold.
