Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- More than Php 400 million worth illegal drugs (Shabu) were confiscated by authorities, Wednesday afternoon, September 14 in Pampanga.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Cesar R. Pasiwen said that joint operatives of SOU NCR and IFLD PNPDEG together with Pampanga PPO and PDEA NCR conducted anti-illegal drug operations at Lakeshore along NLEX, Mexico, Pampanga which resulted in the arrest of Wenjie CHEN aka HARRY, 45 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy San Antonio, Gerona Tarlac and SY YAN QING, 42 years, married, and a resident of Banawe St., Sto Domingo, Angeles City.
Seized from the duo were Five (5) pcs vacuum sealed plastic chinese tea bag with estimated weight of five (5) kilograms containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 34,000,000.00; Fifty-Five (55) pcs vacuum sealed plastic chinese tea bag with estimated weight of fifty-five (55) kilograms containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 374,000,000.00; Five (5) pieces of genuine One Thousand Peso bill marked money; One (1) unit of cellular phone; and Assorted Identification Cards and documents.
Further investigation revealed that the duo are cohorts of subjects listed under COPLAN APOCALYPTO who are notorious in peddling volumes of illegal drugs in the areas of Metro Manila, Regions 3, and 4A.
“The series of accomplishments highlight the government’s stiff anti-illegal drug campaign and all police units are working closely together to eliminate drugs in the country and we are continuously strengthening our intelligence operations focusing on the source of illegal drugs to arrest and put them behind bars,” PBGen Pasiwen also said.
